This online, self-directed course was designed to introduce healthcare providers to normal cardiac rhythms and prepare them to recognize basic cardiac arrhythmias in clinical practice. Audio, animation, interactive activities, and self-assessment portions help students learn basic rhythm understanding and the relationship between ECG strip and heart impulses. It also teaches them to identify and distinguish specific cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias, and how to initiate treatment efficiently and confidently. A convenient alternative to classroom training, Learn:(TM) Rhythm Adult can be implemented as an individual course or as a complement to HeartCode(TM) ACLS or a classroom-based ACLS course. Students who successfully pass the cognitive and ECG recognition post-course tests receive a certificate of completion and are eligible for CE credit. Perfect for telemetry staff and those preparing for ACLS such as EMTs/paramedics, nurses, physicians, clinical pharmacists, respiratory therapists, and ambulatory care personnel. Note: For individual use only. You must purchase one Learn: Rhythm Adult online course for each student you train. Not compatible with Mac(R) computers.
